Ty Davis is a songwriter and bass guitar player from Philadelphia, PA. His love for music started when he was a child, listening to artists, such as Sam Cooke, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and various Motown artists. He started playing drums at age 8 and the bass guitar at age 15. He enjoys music that features artists such as James Jamerson and Larry Graham.

Ramone Brooks is a professional percussionist and keyboardist from Chapel Oaks, MD. He started playing percussion at the age of 12 while attending middle school. His love for music started at home while listening to bands and artists such as Earth, Wind, and Fire, Parliament, Steely Dan, Chaka Khan, and LTD. He has played with numerous artists throughout the DMV and played in local churches.
Ronald Mayfield is a guitarist and singer who began his musical journey by singing in the church and graduated to his school’s choir. He began playing guitar at age 22 and minored in music at NYSU in Plattsburgh, NY. He has played in numerous venues in Canada and on the east coast of the U.S.
Josh Fertel is a skillful and highly experienced keyboard player who began his musical journey at the age of 11 in Richmond, Virginia. Initially starting off with classical piano training which continued for many years, he ultimately became captivated with the R&B and funk music of the 1980s and was highly influenced by several of his favorite musical artists, including Earth, Wind & Fire, Prince, and Steely Dan, and later the jazz keyboard greats; Chick Corea and Jeff Lorber. These artists continue to inspire him to this day. Throughout his 40 years in music, Josh Fertel has been a member of numerous original and cover bands spanning Funk, R&B, Soul, and Pop. Notably, Josh has composed, recorded, and produced a wide variety of original songs, and he has also written and produced customized jingles for local, regional, and national companies.
Cory Brown is a professional drummer and singer from Maryland who inherited his talent and passion for music from his family. He has been playing the drums and singing for over 11 years. He is the founder and member of the Virtuo Soul Band.
Marlon Jackson was born in Abbeville, South Carolina. He is an entertainer, songwriter, and recording artist. His love for entertainment began at the age of 10 when Marlon and his cousin Carlton started a singing group called the JK’s. Over the years, Marlon has opened shows for music artists such as Freddie Jackson, Tony! Toni! Tone’!, Full Force, as well as Bobby Blue Bland.
